Strategic Project Manager Course
The Strategic Project Manager course is an education for managers, leaders and professionals who are getting ready to lead stategic OD projects. The course starts in March 2010 and there is still space available for managers and professionals who want to take control and manage the complexities of strategic projects and the stakeholders involved.

August 2009 - Servicedesign project results online
At a conference at Erhvervs- og Byggestyrelsen Workz revealed the results of their joint venture with design firm Knud Holscher Design into the world of acute medical treatment service design.
The entire package - including both whitepaper and the final designs can be downloaded (beware, it' a 44 Mb file!). You can also make do with the whitepaper on itself. It describes the process, or experiences along the way as well as gives an overview of the results. If you are really short on time the synopsis will give you a one page summary.
June 2009 - Cooperation with CBS and The National Film School of Denmark
Workz will collaborate with Copenhagen Business School and The National Film School of Denmark on a new international course for professional producers. Workz and CBS will develop and facilitate a course with focus on negotiation techniques and networking. The course will be held at Workz, located in "Film City" just outside of Copenhagen.
May 2009 - Wallbreakers chosen as finalist for the design award: INDEX: Award
Our change management game, Wallbreakers, has been chosen as a finalist in the world's largest design award: "INDEX: Award". More than 1000 managers have tried the game that is used by Simcorp, DR (Danish Broadcasting), ISS and Danfoss, among others. The winner will be announced at the end of August - so please help us by crossing your fingers!

May 2009 - The Workz event "Great Play Day" a huge success
In May, Workz held two large "play day" events to build on the success from 2008.
In attendance were over 100 customers and people from our networks to play around with our products and tools and exchange experiences and possibilities. We held two separate events - one in Copenhagen and one in Århus. In Århus, our good friends at Arla where so kind as to host the event.
May 2009 - Inspirational model programme for daycare centers
Workz is cooperating with consulting group COWI and arcitechts JJW on developing a model programme pointing the way for future daycare center development in Denmark. The project is funded by Erhvervs- og Selskabsstyrelsen (Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction).
Workz is in charge of the stakeholder and user involvement through a series of workshops, as well as designing a gamelike dialogue tool to be used in conjunction with the final paper.
The project concludes in December 2009.
April 2009 - Our new process tool, Story Line, is finished
Workz has developed a new universal process tool called Story Line, made for mapping processes and to get an overview of complex projects and the phases and challenges in those projects.
Story Line helps the user visualize the internal processes in a company or project and how they could be improved upon. It was created to map working procedures and flag bottlenecks before they occur, but can be used for many cases.
Story Line was first used in our service design project for the new emergency services system in Northern Jutland, which will combine emergency rooms with on-call doctor centers.
April 2009 - New colleague joins Workz
We have been joined by our newest colleague Henning Basballe. Henning will work with the consultant team with a focus on innovation. We welcome Henning and look forward to his input on this important area.
April 2009 - Workz develops game-based learning tool for Nycomed
Workz has developed an engaging learning tool for Nycomeds implementation of their new global communications coordination system.
The learning tool was designed not only to implement the system, but also to teach the employees how to understand and use it. The first two workshops were held in Lisbon and Zürich.
January 2009 - Using obstacles to remove obstacles in the building industry
In collaboration with the Danish Pedagogical University, Workz is developing a game to be used in all educations related to the building industry - arcitechts, craftsmen, engineers and so on.
The object of the game is to provide students with an understanding of the complex collaboration in building processes and a set of tools to help them deal with it.
The project game is commissioned by Real Dania og Grundejernes Investeringsfond.
